About the role 💼
As an Implementation Manager, you will own the onboarding journey end-to-end, turning signed deals into successful, live clients. You’ll sit at the centre of delivery, creating clarity and driving alignment across cross-functional internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Product, Tech, Clients), managing dependencies and translating requirements into structured, executable plans.
You will drive alignment on scope, timelines, and expectations, proactively minimising ambiguity and mitigating delivery risk, while delivering a professional client experience. This includes guiding clients on what a viable implementation looks like and driving stakeholders to deliver the required outcomes to a high standard. You’ll maintain oversight across simultaneous implementations and help raise the standard of onboarding as the function scales.
What you'll do 🛠️
Here’s what you can expect to work on:
Own the full onboarding lifecycle — from Sales acceptance, to client go-live, ensuring a controlled, high-quality client onboarding experience.
Manage multiple implementations simultaneously across different client segments and geographies, maintaining clear oversight and delivery discipline.
Create clarity and drive alignment across cross-functional internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Product, Tech, Clients), ensuring shared understanding of scope, timelines and next steps.
Act as the central point of ownership during onboarding, leading clients through the process, building trust, and guiding them on what a viable implementation looks like.
Set and manage expectations effectively, pushing back where needed and holding both clients and internal teams accountable to agreed timelines and responsibilities.
Manage dependencies and proactively minimise ambiguity and delivery risk, identifying issues early and driving resolution to keep implementations on track.
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to remove blockers and resolve issues.
Maintain a strong focus on client experience, ensuring clear communication, confidence in delivery, and a high standard of professionalism throughout onboarding.
Contribute to improving implementation frameworks, playbooks, and ways of working, helping to bring greater structure and scalability to the function.
Monitor project performance and contribute to optimizing time-to-live and time-to-cash.
Leverage data and tools (including AI) to improve forecasting, efficiency, and scalability.
What we'd love to see 😍
Proven experience (5+ years) in B2B enterprise implementation — either in enterprise asset management, SaaS, fintech, or data integration environments.
Can act as a role model for high-quality delivery, demonstrating the behaviours, discipline, and professionalism required in a scaling and maturing organisation.
Solid experience delivering end-to-end enterprise implementations for multi-stakeholder accounts whilst proactively mitigating ambiguity and risk.
Focused on the client experience, demonstrating professionalism and strong client awareness.
Understanding of enterprise client dynamics (procurement, compliance, SLAs, integrations) and how these impact delivery timelines and expectations.
Experience operating within structured delivery frameworks and contributing to improving processes and ways of working.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience leading conversations with senior stakeholders, and maintaining credibility in high-stakes environments.
Strong organizational and problem-solving capability, with a clear sense of ownership and accountability for delivery outcomes.
Analytical and process-oriented, using data, tracking, and metrics to inform delivery performance and drive continuous improvement.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment, where ambiguity is built in.
Willingness to travel potentially once per quarter or more.
