About the role 💼

As an IT Systems Administrator Intern, you'll get hands-on exposure to the technical foundations that keep Flanks running securely, efficiently, and without interruption. Working closely with our Tech team and reporting to our CISO, you'll get involved across onboarding, access management, endpoint monitoring, and internal automation — learning firsthand how to treat internal systems as a product worth constantly improving.

It's a hands-on way to build real IT systems administration experience inside a fast-growing fintech, with direct exposure to how security, productivity, and operational excellence come together day to day.

What you'll do 🛠️

Here's what you can expect to work on:

• Run the IT onboarding and offboarding process for new employees, from account creation to equipment setup

• Manage our device fleet across Windows, Mac, and Linux through MDM tools

• Handle day-to-day identity and access management tasks, including access requests and permission reviews

• Build and maintain automations for recurring IT tasks and processes

• Own front-line IT support for Flankers, troubleshooting issues as they come up

What we'd love to see 😍

• Familiarity with Microsoft environments (Office, Entra ID, Intune)

• A troubleshooting mindset and comfort working through IT issues methodically

• Exposure to identity and access management concepts (SSO, MFA, RBAC, least privilege)

• Some experience with or interest in MDM tools

• A proactive, service-oriented attitude, with genuine interest in treating internal systems as a product worth improving

• Language Proficiency: Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish to collaborate effectively in our bilingual environment 🗣️.
